Co-Creating Cultures of Safety & Inclusion

Thursday 16 June 2022

The first panel critically discussed the recent results of the National Student Safety Survey and its findings that those most at risk of harassment and assault are those that are marginalised. The panel was representative of both academics and the community for wider involvement in the discussion.

How do we deliver meaningful engagement to support the marginalized groups identified as most at risk of harassment and assault?

How do we co-create the solutions?

How do we deliver outcomes that make a difference?

How do we ‘move the dial’?

Esteemed guest speakers on the panel included:

  • Dr Corrinne Sullivan
  • Professor Kerry Robinson, Director, Diversity and Human Rights Research Centre
  • Associate Professor Lucy Nicholas
  • Student Mohammad Raza Sohailee, Western Sydney University
  • Cash Garrety, High School Teacher
  • Eloise Layard, Program Coordinator, Sexual, Domestic and Family Violence at ACON
