Mathematica
Mathematica is one of the most powerful versatile computing software which increasingly has been used by both engineers and scientists and banks and financial institutions to tackle their problems.
THE ONE DAY CRASH COURSE PROVIDES:
- Introduction to fundamentals of Mathematica
- Programming Mathematica Style
- Solving problems from Finance and Engineering
- Hands on training with Mathematica
The course is broken into two sessions. In the morning, there is an introduction on how to Mathematica “outside of the box” as we demonstrate how to perform basic operations, build up computations, create professional two and three-dimensional graphics as well as dynamic and interactive graphics. We then focus on problem solving using the Mathematica system of programming. This style has revolutionised the way which we approach problem solving turning once tedious and long work into simple and elegant tasks. In the afternoon session, we put what we have learnt into practice as we solve problems coming from engineering, finance and mathematics sectors.
