Western Sydney University welcomes international delegations from institutional partners, government agencies, scholarship bodies, research organisations, industry associations and business partners.
The Western Sydney International Partnerships team has procedures for facilitating international visitors and is the central point of coordinating arrangements for visiting groups. The team works closely with senior university executives, Schools, Research Institutes and other business units to develop visiting programs which aim to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for visitors and the University.
Academics from outside Australia who are planning to take sabbatical leave or research work at Western Sydney University are invited to apply directly with the relevant School for confirmation and making the necessary arrangements.
Visits by existing or potential partners are coordinated by the International Partnerships team and visitors are invited to complete and return a visitor request with at least four weeks’ notice before the proposed date of the visit. Western Sydney International will review the request and will confirm acceptance of the visit prior to receiving the delegation.
