Lacan Reading Group
Dr Ehsan Azari who is an Adjunct Fellow with the Writing & Society Research Centre is running a Lacan Reading Group.
The reading group will be devoted to the discussion, interpretation and understanding of Lacan’s key concepts and ideas as well as their application to broader areas beyond the boundaries of psychoanalysis.
The group will select readings from Écrits, which contains a diverse range of Lacan’s key texts, which have often provoked a great deal of interest in the fields of literary studies, literary criticism, writing, film studies, philosophy, anthropology, and feminist studies.
The group will meet on the first Friday of each month starting on Friday 13 April (due to the Easter public holiday).
All welcome. For more information please email E.Azari@uws.edu.au
