Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Citizenship:
- Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or eligible New Zealand Citizen**

Enrolment:
- New or continuing students who have completed a maximum of 120 credit points
Program/s:
- Bachelor of Medical Science or Bachelor of Advanced Medical Science and enrolled in Biomedical Science major (T086)
Additional:
- demonstrate financial or other hardship as assessed by the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC)
- preference for the scholarship to be awarded to two female and one male student.
Genea
Genea is one of Australia’s leading providers for fertility, IVF and other assisted conception treatment. Genea seeks to support recipients at Western Sydney University who are from under-represented groups and experiencing financial disadvantages, however, have the personal potential, goal and commitment to study biomedical science and to succeed in tertiary education.
This scholarship is funded by Genea through The Generations Foundation, an organisation that aims to facilitate equitable access to quality education.
Application and Selection Process
Applications are to be submitted through the Universities Admissions Centre. Shortlisted applicants, as determined by the UAC Equity Ranking, may be required to make a written submission in support of their application.

Continuing Eligibility Criteria
- Recipients must remain enrolled at Western.
- Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 4.
