Biography
Dr Denejkina is an early career researcher. Her research focuses on intergenerational trauma transmission, specifically in military families. She is interested in military family wellbeing, including the psychological, emotional and physical wellbeing of children in military families.
Dr Denejkina has a PhD in Sociology - this research examined familial relationships pertaining to returned Soviet veterans of the Soviet-Afghan War, 1979 to ’89: a mixed methods study into the intergenerational transmission of war-related trauma from parents to children.
