Julianne Abood is currently the research officer for project ‘Across the Margins – Sexual health of LGBTQA+ people with disability’ at THRI. Julianne has extensive experience working with the Greater Western Sydney family and community services sector, supporting mainstream organisations to develop sustainable inclusive and accessible practices for diverse, disadvantaged, and marginalised communities.

Benedict is a research assistant and a PhD Candidate at the Translational Health Research Institute (THRI), Western Sydney University. As a research assistant, Benedict is working on various projects exploring the health and wellbeing of marginalised groups including the people experiencing homelessness, refugees, and people seeking asylum.

Dr Mehrnoush Bonakdar is a Research Officer at the THRI, Western Sydney University. She has a particular research interest in addressing the service and support needs of migrant women, particularly those who are most vulnerable.

My research is in mental health and wellbeing using mobile phone-based data collection, particularly sensor data and paradata but also ecological momentary assessment and linked data.

Research officer, School of Medicine, is currently working on weight management trials involving patients with eating disorders and mental health problems.

Sarah is a Research Officer at THRI, Sarah has worked on the development of Applied Disease Outbreak Management microcredentials, Health Inclusion and Social Isolation and BreastScreenPlus.

Deena is a PhD candidate and is presently engaged in the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Mindfulness Project as a research assistant at THRI. She holds a particular interest in addressing the public health needs within multicultural communities.

Ronda is a Research Assistant working across various diabetes prevention projects with Professor David Simmons and his team. Her primary role is community engagement with those at highest risk of diabetes and those living with diabetes.
