Biography

Dr Anil is a postdoctoral researcher at the Human Physiology Lab, where her passion for interdisciplinary research drives her engagement in a diverse range of studies encompassing human physiology and biomedical advancements in the fields of concussion (TBI), peripheral neuropathy, vestibular impairments, and hearing loss.

Dr Anil previously worked as an Associate Professor at Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), where she gained extensive experience in teaching, research, and clinical practice. Her research and PhD were centered around the cognitive aspects of communication. Within this domain, she created a culturally sensitive curriculum-based assessment, designed to meticulously profile cognitive communication skills within the younger population, spanning from preschool to adolescence. Dr. Anil is interested in the clinical intricacies of speech language pathology service delivery. With a keen understanding of the diverse challenges and opportunities within this field, she works to enhance the overall impact of assessments and interventions for various communication disorders. Her commitment to interdisciplinary research seeks to blend diverse perspectives, aiming to craft a more comprehensive and holistic approach to her research endeavours.
