Professor Brajesh Singh grew up on a remote farm in India and has always been fascinated by plants and animals. 

Professor Brajesh Singh His real interest in science began whilst studying a Masters and a subsequent PhD research into the relationship between soil biology and pesticide application. 

The Global Centre for Land-Based Innovation was established to contribute to global food security and environmental sustainability. 

To do that, it will bring together industry, academia and policy makers on one platform, and identify key challenges within this field and their solutions. 

The Global Centre will deliver significant economic, social and environmental benefits to participating countries by promoting cooperation, innovation, education and trade.
