Research Students
Dr Ruth Brookman is a researcher and clinical psychology registrar, and an academic member of the MARCS Institute's Lifespan Labs. Her clinical experience and research interests cover the lifespan. She is particularly interested in supporting well-being and social interactions between people with dementia and their caregivers.

Nicole's thesis title is "The role of affect and infant-directed speech on infants’ early word learning".

Tina’s thesis title is “Early word recognition and perceptual adaptation across regional English accents by Arabic-L1 children in Australia” .

Gloria's thesis title is "Bridging the gap between domain-general cognitive processes and word learning in monolingual and bilingual children".

Jenny's thesis title is "Infants’ Cue Weighting in Speech and Music Rhythm Perception".
