Ever wondered what your baby or child is thinking, learning, or discovering about the world?

At MARCS BabyLab, we explore how babies and young children grow, learn, and communicate through safe, age-appropriate research activities.

Your little one might play with toys, watch short videos, listen to sounds, or take part in simple games – all while helping our researchers better understand child development, speech, language, and more.

What’s involved?

Activities are designed to be safe and simple for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
Each activity takes approximately 20 minutes.
Activities take place at our Westmead, Bankstown, and Kingswood labs.
Parents and caregivers get to stay with their child throughout the activity.

What do you receive?

For each activity, you'll receive a $30 gift voucher, a toy or book of your choice, a graduation ceremony with certificate (child gets to put on a graduation robe for photos!), and free parking!
