Institute Manager, NICM Health Research Institute

As Institute Manager, Deborah manages a broad range of administrative processes that support the Institute, and its professional and academic staff to succeed. She is responsible for the operational health of the Institute, managing the financial, human resources, compliance and reporting, facilities, policies and processes, and planning.

Deborah joined NICM Health Research Institute in March 2022. She brings 20 years of experience to the role, including eight years in leadership positions in the tertiary education sector across research operations. Deborah is skilled in non-profit organisations, program evaluation, federal grants management, event management, financial management and strategic partnerships. She is also experienced with start-up, transition and relocation of businesses.
