Fibre Study

About the Research

Participants with gastroparesis will undergo a trial of low viscosity soluble fibre diet. They will ingest one of the test fibres along with a sugar drink. We will periodically monitor blood glucose, gastric transit, and gastroparesis symptoms over 3 hours. The results of this study will provide scientific evidence to improve the dietary management of gastroparesis. Participants can access their own results at the completion of their study in the form of a report.
