Finding names in Microsoft Outlook

To use “Find Names” in your new email:
  • click the To… button, and the Find Names windows will open.

To button

  • make sure the box next to Find Names in: says Global Address List (1). This will list everyone in the UWS
  • enter the person’s First name in the box, (2). (You can use the Last Name box if you prefer)
  • click Find (3) and a list should appear
  • select the person you want from the list, (4)
  • click the To button.(5) This will put the email address/name in the To box of the email
  • if you want to add someone else, repeat steps 2 to 5
  • when finished, click Close (6). This will return you to the email.
