Using the Acrobat pdf reading function

Some pdf files can be read to you. The files must be text (not one big picture). There are shortcut keys for these operations. To start the reader must be activated.

To Activate the Reader

  • From the View menu, choose Read out Loud (at the bottom)
  • Select the Activate Read out loud. The menu will close.

To Start the Reader

  • From the View menu, choose Read Out Loud (at the bottom)
  • Select either Read this page only or Read to End …

To Control the Reader

  • From the View menu, choose Read out Loud (at the bottom)
  • Choose Stop or Pause
