Biography
Yvonne is an academic general practice registrar who is interested in research in all areas of primary care. She is an alumnus of Western Sydney University and has worked in Concord, Canterbury and Broken Hill Hospitals. Her current academic post research is a mixed methods study on factors influencing uptake of Advanced Care Planning in the Vietnamese community in Greater Western Sydney. She also currently works in a family practice in the Western Sydney region, where she continues to develop her clinical interests in women’s health, aged and paediatric health, and mental health. In her spare time she has previously volunteered at StoryFactory, a not-for-profit Sydney creative writing centre for marginalised young people.
