Kimberley is an Associate Research Fellow at THRI, where she works on the Out with Cancer project. This study explores the care and survivorship experiences of LGBTI+ individuals with cancer, with the aim of improving culturally competent care and support for this population. Kimberley has been involved in psycho-oncology research for several years through CanTeen Australia, looking at the experiences of adolescents and young adults affected by their own or a relative’s cancer.

In addition to her work in psycho-oncology and LGBTI+ health, Kimberley is currently completing a PhD in Psychology at Macquarie University.
