QUEST PHC Project: Research Positions Recruiting Now!

The School of Medicine & THRI are seeking to appoint two research professionals to support an evaluation project, QUEST PHC (Quality Equity and Systems Transformation in Primary Health Care) at the General Practice Unit based at Campbelltown Campus.

Senior Research Fellow, QUEST PHC, SoM, General Practice Unit

This is a Part-time (0.8 FTE), fixed-term position for 2 years based at Campbelltown Campus.

In this position you will work with the Peter Brennan Chair of General Practice to manage an externally funded research project in collaboration with primary health networks and other stakeholders including consumers, government and professional organisations. The QUEST PHC project will use a modified Delphi approach to review and revise quality indicators and measures of general practice.

Workshops will be convened with consumers to review survey tools for patient measures. Meetings will also be convened with leaders in the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Sector and with prison health representatives to consider the relevance of the agreed indicators and measures in those settings.  You will also contribute as a team member to other research activities where appropriate.

Research Assistant, QUEST PHC, SoM

Internal applicants only – you must be already employed on a casual, fixed term or ongoing contract with the university.

This is a part-time (0.5), fixed-term position for 2 years, based at the Campbelltown campus.

This position will provide administrative and research support in relation to the QUEST-PHC (Quality Equity and Systems Transformation in Primary Heath Care) project. The QUEST PHC Project team in collaboration with primary health networks and other stakeholders including consumers, government and professional organisations, will review and revise quality indicators and measures of general practice.
