About the Office of the Senior Vice-President
The Division of the Senior Vice-President is led by the Senior Vice-President, Peter Pickering. The Senior Vice-President reports to the Vice-Chancellor, and is a member of the University Executive. The Senior Vice-President advises the Executive Team on how to best meet the strategic imperatives of the University regarding Western Growth, cyber security, and Digital Transformation. The Senior Vice-President is also the Provost for the Hawkesbury Campus.

The Office of the Senior Vice-President has oversight of and is responsible for the Offices of the Chief Information and Digital Officer, the Chief Information Security Officer, and Strategic Project Implementation and Improvement with strategic leadership in commercial initiatives. The office works to ensure that strategy and planning within these portfolios are optimised. The office also holds accountability for activities across the above areas of the University, focusing in particular on cyber security and Digital Transformation.

Office of the Chief Information & Digital Officer (Information Technology and Digital Services)
Information Technology and Digital Services (ITDS) at Western Sydney University is a vital enabler of every aspect of our University's objectives and operations. We are a trusted adviser, broker and aggregator of IT services and partner with the University community to continually deliver innovation in education, research, administration and engagement. At all times we hold the interests of the University as our primary motivation.
ITDS at the University operates across all campuses. We provide the underpinning communications infrastructure (networks, telephones and wireless) which connect end users to each other, to University academic and business systems and to the Internet.
ITDS maintain a proactive awareness of changing technologies, environments and the needs of the University. We design robust ITDS solutions that meet the University's expectations, by taking a strategic approach that considers the needs of multiple stakeholders.

Office of Strategic Project Implementation and Improvement
The Office of Strategic Project Implementation and Improvement (SPII) is a single, central support structure designed to provide assistance to change related projects across the University. The SPII provides a variety of support to either individual projects, or a series of projects (a program), across the organisation allowing for the successful execution and implementation of projects.

Office of the Chief Information Security Officer
The Office of the Chief Information Security Officer leads the development and communication of cyber and information security strategies, and promotes projects and initiatives designed to satisfy the current and ongoing needs of the University's cyber-security obligations. This office operates to support all students and staff in the protection of data and data owned by the university. It also provides guidance and counsel to Information Technology and Digital Services, and the Senior Vice-President, on objectives for cyber and information security, while building relationships and goodwill. The office also leads the establishment of cyber and information security priorities and programs, with a view to maintaining an inclusive and comprehensive information security program for the entire institution in support of academic, research and administrative systems and technology.
