The 45th Australasian Universities Building Education Association (AUBEA) conference will be held at Western Sydney University, Kingswood Campus, Sydney, Australia from 23 - 25 November 2022. AUBEA 2022 is organised this year by the School of Engineering, Design, and Built Environment in collaboration with the Centre for Smart Modern Construction, Western Sydney University. The conference will be in a hybrid format with both in-person and online attendance.

With the theme of “Global Challenges in a Disrupted World: Smart, Sustainable and Resilient Approaches in the Built Environment”, AUBEA 2022 brings together researchers, educators, students, and industry practitioners from Australia and other regions, to share knowledge, collaborate, reflect, and learn current issues and participate in shaping the future of the construction and built environment sectors.

All papers submitted to the AUBEA 2022 conference will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process. Independent referees will be selected from the appointed scientific committee  and qualified conference authors/academics.

  • Notification of Abstract Acceptance: 24 July 2022
  • Paper Submission: 04 September 2022
  • Paper Acceptance Notification: 16 October 2022
  • Final Paper Submission: 23 October 2022
