UWS succeed at the National Indigenous Tertiary Education Student Games
Last week the University of Western Sydney and Badanami Centre for Indigenous Education hosted the 18th National Indigenous Tertiary education Student Games (NITESG).
From Sunday 21 September to Thursday 26 September over 300 Indigenous students from 19 universities from across the country participated in the opening ceremony, basketball tournament, futsal tournament, netball tournament, touch football tournament, and a closing ceremony and awards presentation.
The University of Western Australia walked away champions after making it to the grand final of each tournament. UWS came in second overall.
