Community Scholarship recipient, Ken Lee

Ken Lee moved from South Korea to Australia in 2009. He studied English for a year at TAFE and then decided that he wanted to pursue a health-related field of study.  After completing a University preparation course Ken secured a place in the Bachelor of Health Science/Physiotherapy program at UWS.

Ken resides on campus and is supporting himself through his study, with very limited financial support.

Ken says the scholarship will be a big help towards attaining his study goal.

“First of all, the scholarship will lessen the burden and stress of money. It will also help me to focus on my study so that I can become a physiotherapist who can contribute to the local community.”
