Online Learning Reimagined as WSU Online launches
The launch of WSU Online was a highly successful collaborative effort involving teams from the schools of Business and Social Sciences and Psychology, Digital Futures, Library, Student Experience Office, Marketing, and ITDS. The effort has encompassed around twenty working and steering group meetings, with over 30 staff collaborating on how to get this new venture across the line. All timelines and projections have been either met or exceeded for a very encouraging first step in this significant new University initiative.
New courses in Cyber Security and Behaviour, Psychology, and Nursing are already generating registrations from students eager to commence at Western in 2018.
Planning is underway with other schools, including Humanities and Communication Arts, SCEM, and Science and Health, exploring potential new courses for online delivery in 2018.
