FUTURE THINKERS’ CURRICULUM CHALLENGE TEAM
“I have been encouraged to experiment with who I am, and to identify what I am passionate about because of my participation in 21C curriculum co-creation. In my Education degree, I learned resilience when challenged by other knowledges. Now, as a PhD candidate with a transdisciplinary research focus, the principles of 21C have given me a purpose beyond myself. 21C nudges me to constantly reflect on my values and perspectives, and to notice how my professional journey can make a positive change in the world” - Thilakshi Mallawa Arachchi, 21C Future Thinkers, Student Curriculum Partner
The 21C Future Thinkers (FT) Curriculum Challenge Team is involved in co-creating transdisciplinary learning experiences where students are creative, inquiry-led, multidisciplinary, and novel solution-oriented thinkers who can thrive in a digital world. Watch the videos below to learn more.

21C Challenge Minors
There are currently three Challenge Minors developed under the auspices of Future Thinkers. One of these – Innovating for Humans – was developed in the STEM+ Curriculum Challenge, now firmly part of Future Thinkers.
The existing 21C Challenge Minors are available to any Western student, in any degree, with elective space. Students choose from at least 5 subjects from 4 different Schools, and the final subject is a significant social action project, intended to integrate learning from other subjects.
