Getting Your Message Out

It's important to plan why, how, when and who you want to get your message out to.

Planning your communications

Planning is important to ensure stakeholders are informed of an initiative, event or project in a timely and informative manner.

Depending on the size of your project, a communications plan may be devised. A communications plan is a document that identifies what you want to say about an initiative, event or project and how and when you will get that information to your target audience. The communications plan can be one component of a larger project plan or can just specifically highlight strategies for one-off events and initiatives.
