Cultural Intelligence Report Published

The Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) has released a summation report of the Cultural Intelligence for a Complex World Cross-Sector Symposium, hosted at Western Sydney University on 4 November, 2015.

The symposium brought together representatives from a range of government departments and NGOs interested in cultural intelligence and the complex issues that 'super diversity' is raising for workplaces, social policy and service delivery.

The report summarises key discussions that were raised at the symposium, including:

  • The changing nature of Australia's cultural diversity;
  • The policy and practice issues that 'super diversity' causes for organisations across the sector
  • Existing 'knowledge gaps' in this space and how these can be addressed
