ICS Welcomes Four New Staff Members

ICS is delighted to announce the appointment of four new staff members who bring with them a wealth of knowledge and expertise. 

  • Dr Stephen Healy joins ICS as Senior Research Fellow from at Worcester State College, USA. His research interests relate to urban geography, community economies, Marxian theory, subjectivity and psychoanalytic theory, with a varied range of empirical focus including health care reform in the US, the work of informal care givers, cooperative development for marginal populations, integration of environmental concerns into teaching, and the process of regional development. 
  • Dr Liam Magee joins ICS in the capacity of Senior Research Fellow. He comes to us from RMIT University where he was responsible for the coordination and development of the Global Compact Cities Programme's research activities. 
  • Dr Timothy Neale is a Research Fellow at ICS, working alongside Dr Jessica Weir on the Bushfire & Natural Hazards CRC project 'Scientific Diversity, Scientific Uncertainty and Risk Mitigation Policy and Planning'. 
  • Vanessa Crosby is Research Officer at ICS, supporting the Research Director, Themes and Research Management Committee.
