In March 2021, the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child adopted General Comment 25 (GC25), to guide states and NGOs to interpret the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child for the digital age. Alongside experts and organisations around the world, over 700 children from 27 countries helped to shape this landmark document. Please join us for the Australian launch of GC25 and a report on children’s insights, along with a discussion about how we could bring some of the GC’s recommendations, about data protection, to life in Australia.
