Dr Elizabeth Conroy, Research Fellow, Centre for Health Research, School of Medicine
Dr Conroy is recognised nationally as an established expert in the health of marginalised populations. A key element of her research is evaluating and informing service delivery to address health inequalities and complex social problems. This industry-engaged research has had direct translational outcomes on the design and delivery of services by industry partners as well as being broadly disseminated via peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations, and plain-language research bulletins and industry reports. Dr Conroy has also established a small but growing team of doctoral and post-doctoral researchers, mentoring new and emerging researchers to conduct ethical research with highly marginalised populations.
