International Day Against Homophobia Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT)


The University recognises and celebrates International Day Against Homophobia, image collageBiphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT day) on 17th May.  IDAHOBIT Day is a day for showing support of people to live safely without fear of abuse or violence based on their sex, sexuality or gender expression.

IDAHOBIT celebrates LGBTIQ people globally, and raises awareness for the work still needed to combat discrimination.  There are a number of training resources available to engage with:
