Academic Pathways

Western Sydney University has a number of partners and offers a range of education pathways into a University degree. Partners include third party providers, who deliver content on behalf of the University, and pathway partners. Pathway agreements can be with TAFE, private colleges, other tertiary institutes (domestic and international), and professional organisations, and may include guaranteed admission and/or credit for previous studies.

Academic Pathways Framework

Academic Pathways Framework document (staff login required) The framework covers the lifecycle of domestic and international partnerships and/or pathways from initiation, assessment, approval, implementation, and review through to renewal or cancellation. The framework is aimed at ensuring that the University meets the obligations of the Higher Education Standards Framework (HESF) and the requirements of the Commercial Activities Guidelines, which are of particular importance in cases that involve international partnership and the establishment of an offshore presence.
