Scott Holmes
Biography
Professor Scott Holmes is the Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor; Dean, School of Business; and Professor of Public Policy at The Whitlam Institute, Western Sydney University.
Professor Holmes holds an honorary Professorship in Business at the University of Queensland and an Adjunct Professorship at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.
Prior to his role as Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Western, Professor Holmes was the Founding Dean of Graduate Studies and Pro-Vice Chancellor Research at the University of Newcastle. He also founded GradSchool.com, Australia's first fully online Masters degree platform. In recognition of this he was awarded the Business Higher Education Roundtable Entrepreneurial Educator of the Year in 2006.
Professor Holmes is the author of six books and over 60 refereed articles, and is an active researcher alongside his role as a senior academic manager. His latest book, Corporate Tribalism, with Professor Michael Schaper, Deputy Chair of the ACCC, is due for release in 2017.
