Badanami Student Success Officers

The Badanami Centre for Indigenous Education provides support for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at our University.

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student Success officers are located at the Badanami Centre on each campus to provide support and advice to Indigenous students. They act as a first point of contact for students seeking advice on cultural or personal issues and are available to:

• Support new students through the transitional stage of adjusting to University life and academic culture
• Link students to a range of other services available to all students here at the University
• Assist students develop an appropriate course of action for any problems they may face during their time at University
• Provide advice on the Tutoring For Success Program (TFS)
