You can download/use the Zoom software on your computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone, or our fixed conference rooms at Western. You can also join Zoom meetings via a web browser.

Zoom into the New: Upgrade Today!

Zoom updates its software on a regular basis to ensure the platform continues to provide a seamless user experience.

From 4th November 2022, Zoom is commencing its latest software update. As such, staff using an end-of-life version of Zoom (5.8.6 or before) will not be able to join meetings via the Zoom Client and will be prompted to update.

We encourage all staff to ‘Zoom into the New’ by updating your Zoom software as soon as possible. Alternatively, you can join meetings via a web browser. However, updating your software is the best way to ensure Zoom runs smoothly and efficiently.
